About us

Schwarz Weiss are a DJ duo and producers from Germany who met the first time in 2021 at a party in Düsseldorf. Ever since, David & Volkan are having a close friendship and also the same passion, which is aviation and music. 

Both have travelled all over the world and lived in different countries to gain experience, a better understanding, tolerance and respect for different cultures. 

Six years in Berlin, the mecca for electronic music and home of many artists had also a huge influence on David’s music career where he learned music production, DJing and got his inspiration from other artists he worked with.

Regarding Volkan, he has started his music career & production at a young age and worked on his own projects then released remixes for different well known artists. Both have successfully played in many clubs and events all over Europe mainly.

In the beginning of 2022 they decided to continue their passion for music together, as an artist duo. In their hometown Düsseldorf they started a unique project. They wanted to create something new with their music and their events, which did not exist before. The feedback was sensational! Therefore, the project Schwarz Weiss decided to create an international attention. 

Volkan aka. Voko did raise some attention with his deep house productions lately, which he still is working on as a solo project. 

Schwarz Weiss is currently working on some new sound to polarize the scene.

But why the name Schwarz Weiss? As simple as it sounds, David likes to wear black and Volkan likes to wear white. Their logo represents the Yin and Yang, which they symbolize with their music: United as one!
